Terms

Terms of use.

The rules for using this website, the contact form, call booking, and the client portal.

Who we are

Pinetech Infrastructure Solutions LLC is a Maine limited liability company ("we" or "us"). These terms cover pinetechsolutions.com, including the contact form, call booking, and the client portal. By using the site, you agree to them. Questions go to hello@pinetechsolutions.com.

Client work has its own agreement

Paid work happens only under a written agreement and scope that you and we both sign. These terms do not cover that work. If a signed agreement and these terms ever disagree, the signed agreement wins.

Information on this site

Everything on this site is general information about IT, security, AI, and cloud systems. It is not a security assessment, legal advice, or a finding that you meet any law or rule, such as HIPAA. The two-minute check is a quick self-review, not an assessment of your systems.

Statistics come from the published reports we link to, and those reports can change. Prices marked "from" are starting points for a typical small office. Your price is set only in a written scope.

The contact form and booked calls

Please give accurate contact details, and send requests only for yourself or your organization. Do not send passwords, keys, or other secrets through the form. If a project needs access to your systems, we set that up after the agreement is signed.

The discovery call is free and does not commit you or us to anything. Calls are 30 minutes by video. You can change or cancel yours with the link in your invitation until two hours before the start. After that, email us. If we need to move or cancel a call, we will let you know by email.

The form uses a "Verify you are human" check to keep bots out. We may decline a request that is outside what we do, and we may block automated or abusive submissions.

The client portal

The client portal is only for clients with a signed agreement and the people they name. You sign in through Cloudflare Access, the sign-in service in front of the portal. Keep your sign-in to yourself, and tell us right away if you think someone else used it. We may pause access to protect an account, and we may end access when the work ends.

Using the site fairly

Do not try to get into accounts or parts of the site you are not allowed to use. Do not overload the site, flood it with automated traffic, or get around the "Verify you are human" check. Do not send malware or pretend to be someone else.

Security research is welcome. Testing that follows our vulnerability disclosure policy is allowed, and that policy is the only exception to this section.

Who owns what

The text, design, logos, and photos on this site belong to Pinetech Infrastructure Solutions LLC. You may share links to the site and quote short parts with credit. Do not copy the site or the logos for your own business. Reports and tools we link to belong to their publishers.

Other websites

We link to other sites, such as SSL Labs, Mozilla Observatory, and the reports behind our statistics. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or do.

No promises about the website

We work to keep this site accurate, secure, and available. Even so, to the extent the law allows, we provide it "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses from using this website, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total responsibility for any claim about the website is limited to $100. This section covers the website only. Responsibility for client work is set in the signed agreement.

Maine law

Maine law governs these terms. Any dispute about the website goes to the state or federal courts in Maine.

Changes

If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page and update the date below.
